Maybe it's already been suggested - i couldn't find it in any of the threads. But i think Achievements could be added to the current three HoF spots on the homepage.

To the 'Hall of Champions' i mean.

The stars still give the same advantages as before: ordering, more stash, and a profile star or logo... isnt that enough?

Essentially unless someone is filthy rich, hv ni life, win the lottery or smth will never donate so much as to forever stay in the achi hof ranks. However it might take a few month to knock down contributers like me smeagol and kerrod down esp if we continue donating then it might take a few years. Probably lower the value of stars rather than removing entirely. Also not lower it excessively its only a minority of us who are donating this much. Star buyers shouldnt suffer for players who donr have stars nor the other way round.

Oh unashamed clan promotion: The highest donators are all in Eternal :p

I am with Sera on this, or make it a cap like after 10 star they stop counting towards achivement.

It's not my intention for the achievements leaderboard to be dominated by donators, which is why there are so many monthly platinums being given out. I expect that as we go forward and these begin to be handed out, there will be more diversity than there currently is.
