Shouldnt be too hard, so maybe make it so that theres a link in workshop/manage stars section where you can upload your own logo? Of course it would only show if you got 9+ stars, but it would be more convenient for both you Ender and the person =)

The reason you can't currently upload star logos or player/bot/clan images yourself is because there are some security considerations that I haven't had time to go through:

Not having to foot the bandwidth bill myself for images (for the latter image groups) is a nice bonus too because that is the server resource the game strains the most.

I can setup a self-serve thing eventually, but it would be quite long term. In the meantime, I don't mind handling changes myself.

Why not just the url of the image? That's just a char value right? There couldn't be anything wrong with that. Ran just like a profile picture?

Yeah thats what i meant. Make it so thats its basically like the bots profiles/clan profiles.

Or is it cause it removes the link to the stars page?

I'd like to do some validation on the image (correct dimensions, not too large, etc.) because the logos appear on so many top-level pages. This is still possible for offsite images, but a little bit harder.
