Some might find the need to change the face of the clan and come up with something fresh once in a while. How about letting the clan owner change the clan name once a month without losing energy?

Big no. Found a new clan if you want another name. |

Agree with jans, no point in building a clan and getting it known if all your going to do is change the name each month. Dont understand the logic behind it really! ~J1gsaw |

Well, at least be able to change it once every 5 months or so.. people get bored and like to change things once in a while without losing all their hard work. I don't understand your negativism, everything changes with time. being against this suggestion is rather strange |

Being against the suggestion is perfectly rational. If you want a new name, make a new clan. No to the idea. |

I just dont see why you shouldnt be able to "keep" your total energy earned figure. Just because you upgrade clans or drop clan for a month of inactivity you still earned it fair and square. Just something I have never understood... |

I don't see why you couldn't ask Ender to change the name for you, just as he does with user/bot names. |

as a last resort, I will ask ender, but I still can't see why this wouldn't be a viable suggestion |

Look, you can change your name to Shirley, you're still a dude. |

I have to say I'm kind of against this too. It's true that I have been soft on changing user/bot names, but that's more because I just have trouble saying no to something so seemingly innocuous. At least there's no precedent for clan names. That being said, I like the idea of a name being a permanent marker on a person/group's identity. Much like a clan's founder bot, these should be immutable pieces of data that showcase an unchanged history. Choose names carefully because I think I will implement a "no changes" policy soon when I draft the game rules. |

Donate $10 for a name change ftw. It's a joke of course. |
