I move that we be allowed to purchase items that we cannot equip. If I have the money, who cares if I need 2 more STR to actually use it. I would like to be able to buy the item early regardless. All in favor say "Ay"

The showroom sells stuff at a price. If you have the money, you should be able to buy it.

Ya. Just when your strength goes below the requirement it doesn't auto unequip, I guess because (unless you bought stars) you wouldn't have enough stash and thus would lose the item.

Well that sucks. How do people get their freaked builds then? Swapping and redissing until they have what they want?

Anyway, i advocate less restrictions. Restrictions suck the fun out of everything. It's FUN to be able to try out a weapon you dont have the stats for yet. And yes, it should be discouraged and penalized by sustaining heavy damage.

i think in bots2 if you had an item in your stash you could equip it regardless of whether you had the stats for it or not. not the case though in bots4.

Need to set limits, perhaps within 20 req points, you can buy it.

I think the rules need to be harder. i think everything should remain how it is now and if you drop below the required stats needed for an item you should lose it, as in it should just vanish. :P

I sgree, however Ender has stated that he wants bots to be able to drop below reqs as it adds a new dimension. I'm not a fan of it, but those are the rules and we all agree to abide by them.

I think there you SHOULD be able to buy stuff in the showroom that you currently do not have the stats for. However, there should be limitations upon this. Such as, be within a certain range of that piece of gear(say, 10 points off, give or take) and that the piece of gear would go directly into your stash. (keeps the perk with star buyers, but limits and encourages non-start users to get more stash space)

Then the current rules would apply, not being able to equip it until you have the correct stats.

Just keep a troll shoe/face of horror/steel grip in the stash. Equip and buy in advance.
