If you attack bot from your level that has 1.0 you get 100% of default energy.

for 0.9 ratio you get 90%, for 0.8 ratio you get 80% etc. For 1.1 ratio u get 110%, 1.2 ratio gets you 120% etc.

It would keep people out from raping low ratio bots, and completely avoiding higher ratio bots, because you might get alot of xp if u rape higher ratio bot, but u only get 500 energy. With this on bot with 3.0 ratio u would get 1500 energy. With that, raping a bot with higher ratio will become somewhat wanted.

Also, adding a level based percentage might not be so bad. It would stop the energy transfer tactic that some people are using now, and most probably, many people will use in future. If you attack a bot that is your level you get/lose 100% of energy. If you attack one level higher and win, u get 110% energy, 2 levels higher should be 120% energy, all the way to 10 levels higher, which would give 200% of energy per fight. All the higher levels would give 200% also. But the trick would be, if you lose, you should lose less.

So:

Attacking 1 levels up and losing - 90% energy lost
Attacking 2 levels up and losing - 80% energy lost
Attacking 3 levels up and losing - 70% energy lost
Attacking 4 levels up and losing - 60% energy lost
Attacking 5 levels up and losing - 50% energy lost
Attacking 6 levels up and losing - 40% energy lost
Attacking 7 levels up and losing - 30% energy lost
Attacking 8 levels up and losing - 20% energy lost
Attacking 9 levels up and losing - 10% energy lost

Thus, attacking a bot that is 9 levels higher than you, and losing, will give that bot only 1 energy.

I didnt think this totally through, but its just an idea to help the game stay on the right track, players fighting other players, not players fighting themselves.

logically this makes sense. it brings ratio into the mix so it wont just be a meaningless number, and would encourage players to pick their targets more strategically.

reading the top part though i thought "hmm, that might bring back ratio whores" and that wouldn't be cool, but then the extra suggestion of energy varied by level when attacking up would counter that problem nicely.

i'm still sceptical though because i would have to check out the maths in way more detail instead of just glancing, but a nice idea!

Regarding the ratio adjusted energy:

Depends on your ratio too. You may gain 1500 energy but if your ratio is high then you will end up losing a ton of energy as well during the rape. So the net effect will still be 500 energy gained after the rape, if both bots ratios are the same. If you have a higher ratio then you will actually get less than 500 energy or even lose energy if the ratio difference is large enough.

Regarding the level adjusted energy:

It will be too easy to take energy from higher levels. You can just rape everyone over 10 levels higher and as long as you win 6% of fights you will gain energy.

i wouldnt make it so it depends on your ratio too. just on the ratio of bot u attack.

but u do got a point about levels. maybe take out winning and just keep the scenario of losing against much higher level.

oh, however re-reading it i figured it out a bit better, you should lose this part:

"If you attack one level higher and win, u get 110% energy, 2 levels higher should be 120% energy, all the way to 10 levels higher, which would give 200% of energy per fight. All the higher levels would give 200% also."

and instead just have it affecting losing battles. you don't need both parts and with the extra gain on wins and less on losses it wouldn't work.

So going on 1-9 on a bot 10 levels higher (assuming 1.0 ratios) will give you:

Gain for one win:

+(20)*2 energy = 40

For nine losses:

-(90)*0.1 energy = -9

So a level 80 raping a level 90 winning 10% would gain 310 energy.

+1 for the idea behind the suggestion
-1 for the idea itself.

Ratio should not matter in this account, this has been brought up in many suggestions in the past. The genereal idea is very worthwhile though :D

Yes, this is how I feel as well. A noble attempt, but yes, the values need some tweaking.

A bot with 0.0 ratio would make a really good energy cow :)
