Okay, since you can't buy the same buff you currently have...
Why not being able to buy the buff again, but it just adds on 1000 battles to the current buff?
Makes sense, no?

As long as renewals fall under the same one-buff-a-day policy. |

But the "cannot stack" has actually become part of the things to take into consideration when choosing buffs. When I buy a buff, I have to assume that if I don't use it up today, I won't have be able to buy it tomorrow without using it up first, or canceling the remaining charges. This change would make sense before the one-buff-a-day policy, but implemented now it would sort of defeat the third reason Ender said he implemented the change: (3) force you to make more choices (more buff variety is in store for the future). |

I think of this suggestion as mostly a 'convenience thing'. You're fighting, and suddenly your favorite buff wears off. "Would you like to renew it? Y/N" But max once a day ofc. |
|
Yes, what Jans said would be nice. Sometimes I don't notice buff has worn off, so yeah, that would be awesome. :) But I don't think you should be allowed to buy 1k more charges of the same buff if you haven't used it up yet. You can either cancel the buff and buy a 1k new charges or buy a different buff. |

Personally I think when you buy a buff you're stuck with it for the duration of the buff. A renewal system would make sense, but not further then 1000 fights. Meaning if you have 800 fights left and you choose to renew, you will need to buy full buff price and have 1000 fights afterwards. Canceling wouldn't make a lot of sense to me, certainly not buying another buff after canceling seeing as you can have more then 1 buff at a time. |

Which is why you would cancel, if you really wanted to use that buff and don't want to "waste" a day. |
|
In order to prevent this, it'd be nice if you could renew a buff before it's worn out - back to its original value. So; 100 fights left on a 1000-fights buff Renewing it gets you back to 1000 (and not 1100) |

Full price indeed, it's your decision to renew early. |

Renewing it gets you back to 1000 (and not 1100) This is what I think should be implemented. Basically canceling and buying a new buff, but made easier. |

I actually spoke to Ender about this very idea, and I don't remember his answer though I do remember him saying he didn't exactly like the idea. |
|
I say it is too difficult to add this in now and wouldn't be worth his time for such a small change. |
|
it wouldn't be too difficult .. just add a renew button beside the [resume] button and make it reset match counter/withdraw trophy points? |

I added a note to make buff renewal easier. I'm not sure how or when I'll end up doing it though. |
|
what is so hard about clicking on trophies and buying what you want? |

Yeah, "There's no "right" way to play, so play however you want." So why can't we buy what ever the fuck we want? Why can't I equip Kevlar and Ruby Katana on my level 1? Why are you still oppressing me!!!! |
|
not exactly what i meant guy |

Are you sure? You want to play how you want, I want to play how I want. What's the difference? |
