Put it in Ender. It will stop Dumping in its tracks.
Dumping is seriously destroying the game. Energy = Sucks.

Gatherers most effective dumpers, dumping still possible. Their ratio will no doubt be moderate (1-5 depending on gathering). Plus, some people really like their high ratios, why should they be punished from being able to attack? And why should poor ratio bots be stopped from attacking high ratio bots? (Which is the essence of mass dumping) A good idea, but ratio is 'controllable' on both dumpers and dumpee. It would make the 100 ratio plat potentially harder to get too ;) |

People just don't want to share their whores so they make dumpers so they have a guaranteed source of score. |

This kind of thread pops up every month or so and they never seem to do much besides drum up resentment and negative feelings about the game in general. Saying "Energy = Sucks" is not constructive and just draws out the other negative people from the woodwork to chime in. Some of you will not like certain aspects of the game and that's life. Obviously there's a subset of people that do like the game because it has an active playerbase. That being said, I recognize that there are flaws in the energy system and have stated that I have plans to address them. I also think negative threads like these (with unnecessary hyperbole about the game being destroyed, etc.) ultimately do more harm than good for the morale of our community though and so I am locking this. And I do realize you did technically make a concrete suggestion, but it still comes across as a knee-jerk "bring back the old days" complaint and I don't think much positive discussion will come of this. |
