Something I was thinking about earlier. Showing all the bots someone owns under a single name, title or something, in the bot info page, that way we know who they are. Maybe the original bot name could be used. Like Alan and neps (well known people here to use as example). The bots would be recognised by the confirmed email address, but it obviously wouldn't be shown, same as it is now.

Yes, no? May lead to being singled out with fights, or no?

I for one would prefer the option of using one username to log in followed by a screen selecting which bot to use after.

However, some people use anonymity on this game and would prefer to keep it in a lot of cases.

I'm not one of those people though, so +1.

That's a good idea. Would it work though to log in multiple bots? Because your account would be logged in already, and tryign to run a second session it seems would cause problems. Like trying to run two instances of Diablo on the same comp.

Though probably some work around could be developed.

Ender wanted to do something like this initially but it proved too difficult, so he went back to the bots2 way.

since multi ownership on one account isn't possible, a 'This bot is one of a group' feature grouped on e.g. smilair confirmed email would be nice.

By email would be the way to go. I'm sure he tried to do it with IP addresses.

could be a new 'grouped ownership' parameter instead of email, but since the email is already there it would be natural to use it.

I'm not in favor of using email. When I make a clan of bots I usually put them on one email, so if I sell the clan I simply turn over the email as well.

You can cancel the verified email though before selling.

Pain in the ass. Canceling email on twenty bots is not as quick as it sounds. Whatever, I doubt this will be implemented anyway. Waste of Ender's already sparse coding time for something unneeded. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I like the idea of somehow tying accounts together since multiple accounts are a big part of the game. It would be complicated though with a lot of problems to solve, so this would be a somewhat large undertaking.
