If this option is available in bots4 a couple of things to change.

- Can merge with the name of a clan that is merging, So -ID- and Aflac could be called -ID-, unlike in bots2. You had to change the name. Like 'The Dynasty' had to do when merging with RF.

- Could have (max_clan_size+5) for a day, so you can kick who is then lowest. If this isn't done by the day, the clan would be disbanded or something.

Im not sure I agree with second part of your sugestion. I think you should think before the merge which members your keepin and which not

I agree with the name thing

I kind of disagree with the first point too. That's called assimilation, not merging.
Two clans merging = new clan = new name.

But merging isn't an important feature for gameplay anyway. A 'nice to have', but way down on the priority list.

Must agree with Jans.
Bots2 merging system was pretty good. Also, there was 1 negative thingy, new clan after merge wasn't able to be named like one of those merging clans.

Not really. You should be able to pick any possible name when merging. Sometimes people want clan merging with new name, sometimes they just wanna join other clan not losing their cl.sc (energy). So clan name changing (for example Rapture - Rapture~) looks pretty stupid

True. I guess if both clans agree the new clan should bear the name of one of the old clans, who am i to say no :)

I know in Bots2 it was a pure technical issue though, which floR never cared to fix/change: when founding a clan, it performed a check to see if the name already exists. And in case of a same-name-merge, that name did already exist. So, no go :)
