It doesn't really make sense that redis points should be unaffordable until level 50 or so.

The current formula is level^3, with a cap of 4.9M:

Level Price
1 1
10 1,000
20 8,000
30 27,000
40 64,000
50 125,000
60 216,000
70 343,000
80 512,000
90 729,000
100 1,000,000
110 1,331,000
120 1,728,000
130 2,197,000
140 2,744,000
150 3,375,000
160 4,096,000
170 4,900,000
180 4,900,000
190 4,900,000
200 4,900,000

I'm making this thread to solicit suggestions on a new formula that will provide reasonable prices at all levels. Please post some data points for your formula in a manner similar to above so others can easily see how it scales.

but this would be good only up to levels 60-70, later it goes unadequate (did I spelt it right?) to kudos gain rate... :|

Something like this perhaps?

roundUp(lvl^3 * min(1, lvl/50))

It's basically the same formula, with the exception that you get a "discount" below lvl 50:

1 1
10 200
20 3200
30 16200
40 51200
50 125000
60 216000
70 343000
80 512000
90 729000
100 1000000
110 1331000
120 1728000
130 2197000
140 2744000
150 3375000
160 4096000

I ended up using something similar:

roundUp(lvl^3 * min(1, lvl/100))

Thanks Emanuel!
