It just hit me that there's no actual straight way to the donation page. There's a few stars links like on the home page, but I think those are too subtle. Knowing about extra stash space and all that jazz isn't common knowledge to new players so the thought of donating might not even cross their mind.

Perhaps a donate button somewhere in the top or left borders would be a nice addition. A button under documentation perhaps, or small icon in the top bar somewhere. Or perhaps even put a donate icon into the logo and have that link to the donation page (after all, we already have a home button anyway).

Considering the first thing you see on the home page upon logging in is the donations list, I don't think it's very subtle at all. Ender addressed this a long time ago iirc; he said he wanted new players to get into the game first and finding out about donating as they played more rather than having donation links in their face all the time.

In bots2, there was a little bit of text below the stash spaces in the showroom. Something like: "Want more stash space? Donate :)". Since extra stash is the main attraction of stars, I think it would be reasonable to add something similar in bots4.

I wasn't saying to have a neon sign constantly pointing to the donation page, just an easy one click link that's always there is all.

When you start a new bot there's the other big box on the homepage though. It almost completely hides the donations on smaller resolutions (like myself with 1366x768).

Yep, as mentioned, it's intentionally difficult to locate. The idea is that I don't want to bombard people with "hey give me money!!" and that anyone that's likely to do so is also likely to have been around long enough to have discovered that you have to click people's logos to get to the donation page.
