I could probably be swayed either way on this. On one hand, regular forum goers have learned how strong a signal a user's color actually is (the same probably goes for people browsing fight lists (read: not me)). It somehow becomes ingrained in you that Nosferatu is light blue, Jans is green, dragonrose is purple, and so on. People tend to notice when a regular changes colors, so I think that's evidence enough that they help build meaning/association. On the other hand, some pages look like a clown barfed on them. |

Let the swaying begin! I think there's already enough colour due to bot and usernames being coloured, adding a clan colour is just going to make it messier. |

I have honestly never seen clown barf. Maybe a drop down box selection of colours instead of the option to do any 1-f rbg so customisation is there but not "too much"? +1 to the idea though, I do like things looking pristine and neat, clan colours is cool though. |
