Why not combine the two? And have the title say something like:

bots4 :: train (86%)

because it would flash you to death; the train/fight done is good enough as it is.

I think having the title change before the battle is done would largely eliminate the effect of having it change in the first place.

It wouldn't really flash though, if you're using Chrome you can do the following to see what it could look like:

Press ctrl+shift+j.

In the window that pops up, click the the "Console" icon at the top.

In the console, write:

function flash(i){document.title = "bots4 :: train (" + Math.min(i, 100) + "%)"; if(i < 100){setTimeout(function(){flash(i+7);}, 800);}}

and then:

flash(0)

Then watch the title (make sure you're not training or fighting in the window you try this on, if you do, it would flash a lot).

I like it flashing when its done so while I'm looking at my other screen I constantly get reminded out of the corner of my eye to hit try again.
