Is the clan ranking total score being calculated in the same way that Jans index used to be?

Thanks guys.

its about energy right now, which clan has the most - leads.

Yup, and level, wins and losses don't affect your ranking anymore.

So, just to clarify. The whole "clanscore" system is gone, thus no raping of bots. you simply battle rival clan members until you have taken all their energy, which currently doesnt take long.

Also the whole jans index, calculating the clanscore, avg level, avg ratio, etc is gone.

Think ive got it lol.

You got it. The idea behind it is that points aren't infinite, like clanscore was. You have to fight for it, and then protect it. Added bonus; since there's no more diplomacy, people can't keep whores to themselves anymore. This should make it easier for new clans to start up.

I still believe JI is a better system than the current one, with this system levelling has become obsolete, and when it comes to the end of the month people are simply going to be swapping energy.

I am going to test this properly in the ob.

actually i think level and ratio should be somehow included into the final result of clan standings..

I disagree. Why should ratio have any effect? You already get more energy from fights that take longer.

Level is debatable, but i prefer it not to have any effect either, simply so clans wont be as hesitant to accept new players like they were in bots2.

Yeah but it entirely removes one aspect of the game.

Want to level your bot, why? What benefit can you gain from levelling? There is no benefit now, all you have to do is get to level 20/50 depending on if you want to join a clan or make one.

Thats true. And i kinda liked how the old JI used to show what members had negative index. So you could boot them 'you're dragging us down, see ya!'

Well it needs time to check it out. I dont think i like it now maybe becoz i have no targets and my level gives 0 advantage to me, I gues all i need is targets,

Actually, it's not that bad there's less pressure to level fast. Because whats the hurry? Why should everyone pump int end get to lvl 150 in 2 days?

I do love the old JI index and clanscore based rankings, ideally I would like to use the old system but I am willing to give this a go.

If we do decide to keep the nrg system then I believe it would still be important to have JI involved somehow.

Even if we had the old system in place, if you're one of the top 10 or so in level you're going to be at a disadvantage anyway wouldn't you, with targets? Yes over time you won't be but at first you will be, same with this system over time there should be enough bots and players that it shouldn't matter. Correct me if my logic is off.

The problem isn't that there will be less targets, it is that being a higher level gives absolutely zero benefit to the player, once you reach a certain point you might as well just whore the bot and make a new one.

I'm starting to think incorporating wins/level back into the formula makes sense. Provided it's not game-breaking, I like the idea of there being a long-term benefit to working on a bot over a long period of time.

Ok kids. Lets go back to bots in 02'.

All the clans had an average level of 75. Highest was around 86. Ratio max was like 15.0 but average was 2.5-3.0.

So, we are on track for the beginning of bots 2. Eventually everyone will be level 150 again, with millions of energy and wins built up. Thousands of bots in the mix. You know the highest ID was somewhere around 220k?

What everyone is saying now is: to be the best and most optimal, you should be around level 50 and have a 'perfect' build. Eventually everyone will have souls at 132, dooms at 140, larges at 150 because that was the most optimal. All whores were 150. Because that was optimal. Not hard to get to, but got 600cs per rape. Optimal.

That's how it will go. The JI index was changed 2 times. The 'new' one used all '2s'. The old one cated to ratio's more I think. I used '3s' in all of the formula.

Don't worry guys, It will even out.

Question...What use does an int bot have in a clan nowadays?

its good as it is now, high level and ratio should stay as they are now, a question of prestige.

Hmm useless then...
High levels used to pump jans index, as did the ratio, in a less relative way

Wrong yet again, the only reason you could pump JI with those bots is because you could have so many....now a days you need as many scorers as your can get with the smaller clans it will still help
