i went online to play diablo2 the other day, and not really a surprise but i found the player base lacking, so i figured that maybe some bots players might wanna crank some d2 some time =)

I know Dragonsummoner and Kofi play.

I haven't played D2 in a long time... waiting on D3 which is never coming out, I never really have time to play though.

Even if you did remember your account they reset your characters after I believe 90 days of inactivity

I still play D2 quite a bit, thought it gets very hard when bots jump in, spamming 30 lines in under a second (sometimes 4 bots at a time).

My favourite class was, is, and shall always be Necro.

They don't reset accounts, they disable them after a certain amount of time, depending on level. As far as reset or deletion, I'm not sure they do.

Mine always were reset back to level 1 after the inactivity I mentioned when I would quit for a few months or so. I always loved to hammerdin/smite pally

I have a level 70ish Necro, and after at least of year of not using him, he's still quite level.

In my defense the last time I played was about 2.5 years ago and had about 4 chars lvl96+ And all of them had something along the lines of "last played X days ago" then got reset back to level 1 after a while

It's possible they got reset, I've never seen this myself, though.

Ah, hell yeah. Gotta be a private game though, last time a bot wandered in, my harddrive got wiped. I hate having to reformat because of something I didn't do.

Why not just password protect your games so only people you want join?

I haven't been on D2 in about 1yr since I can't find my cd's to reinstall the game. But I was extremely rich on D2, have a bunch of ladder reset items, runes, perm imps, and a bunch of other fully equipped chars. I kinda stopped playing once D2jsp popped up and completely ruined the ingame trading/merchanting. I have like 6 mule accounts with extra shit and 2 main acc's with like 8 fully leveled/geard mf'ers and pkers.

But yeah i can't find my disks either, come to think of it, i gave them to my friend xD

not sure, i dont think so. if i remember correctly your cd key is registered to your battle.net account so it has to be an authentic cd key

If you found a key to install the game you could play online as long as the other person wasn't using that same key to get online.

i miss D2 LoD. just to think last time i played it my barb and merc had the best gear in the game. ofc all merc gear was ethereal since mercs dont use durability =D if only i could remember 3 yrs back what the names of everything were but im for sure on the wep my merc use was the best in the game as all the hardcore players had the merc with same weps.

it was a CV, but i dont remember the name and im sure the armor was a 4065 def ethereal p fortitude

I stopped playing since I never have anyone to play with. I'd be down to play it with you though.

I preferred to play it alone actually.. Baal runs for xp needed loads of players though and no chance to grab the loot.
