Bots4 has become a very unwelcoming game to play for new members, this is a fact. Whether it be from older players not being so welcoming or maybe due to the fact that there seems to be no clan races during the month. I find that the second point is more true. Many of the older bots players arent shy when it comes to helping new members with things such as builds, but what I find to be the problem is that of the 1st place clan trophy. Fair enough if I was part of this clan I would have no problem in coming 1st place every month, but I find it to be one of the things that makes new players not want to carry on playing. Since starting bots4 I have owned a couple of clans, some placed within the top 10 and some didn't, but the main reason that my new members had stopped playing is because they felt it was "pointless" in carrying on as 1st place would never be achievable. You could say that 2nd place is quickly becoming the new 1st place. The same repetetive monthly routine of Eternal winning the monthly spot is getting boring and is driving away new people to the game, im not saying that anything should be done about this as that would be a ridiculous statement to make but what happened to the old days of good, quality bots players creating there own clans and challenging each other to make things interesting? It must be boring coming first every month? and it musn't be only me that feels it is becoming boring seeing Eternal winning each month. This isn't a thread to urge people to hate on Eternal as given the choice I would choose to have my clan place 1st each month, but it comes down to the fact of the top players in bots all grouping together in order to achieve success. You may argue that it is up to the other players to challenge Eternal which I do agree with hence why I am a member of Dynasty who hope to not only challenge but beat Eternal next month, but I feel that the game would prosper and grow without such repetitiveness.

As I said i'm not saying that Eternal being majorly succesful is wrong as I understand that they work hard in order to stay on top each month but what I am saying is you may be succesful but think about the effect it has on other players both old and new. The game is about fun and enjoyment, and this seems to have been taken away. Hopefully this thread will spur on more people to make and join clans that can make this game interesting again and put up a challenge for 1st place. I have no complaints as long as there is a worthy challenge put up each month to achieve the top spot, even if Eternal do win and fend off every challenger. I just want the game to be competitive again and not have people giving up each month as they feel they can't win.

But big up to Eternal for being so succesful and here's to a good race next month!

6 month of Bots4 equals to me to approximately 3 months of Bots2, considering several of the month we won were quite simply without any efforts.

3 consecutive months of winning.. How many clans did that in bots2?

I can see how it can be unfriendly due to dumpers, I know I had to complete;y reorganize my strategy for my own clan. However, after being here for open and closed beta, I'm supried by two things: 1) The pure amount of high-high(150+) level bots and the lack of mid-high level(100-150) bots.

Also, I believe angels of light on blue won many months in a row

Sorry but this just isn't even logical. Of course the new players aren't going to get first place. There are a lot of dedicated players on here, and on top of that they know the game inside and out. The new players you speak of must have extremely weak willpower and ability to adapt.

BnW and Rapture on green (maybe 12M too, not sure about that), AoC, SoC and Acedia on blue. That's all I think. But it was done on a long run...

Acedia was the Eternal of blue in the last year or so. SoD challeneged them but managed to win only win Acedia wasn't really trying.

Everything comes to an end. Im sure soon Eternal will lose to dinasty or Rapture or someone else. What you need to do is to put some work and lil luck. And convince your new players that what i just wrote is true.

Etneral will suffer from what all clans who dominate do, they'll have an off month at the time someone is having a crazy on month. Maybe some clans will merge, maybe some clans will actually try, who knows. Nothing last forever...

Bots4 is about as unfriendly to new players as Bots2 was, just in a different way. A new player in Bots2 couldn't expect to come first in the clan race because of whores and the size of clans. A noob in Bots4 can't expect to win because they have to set up dumpers and the number of active players in the top clan is epic.

Really Bots4 isn't unfriendly to noobs, it has a simple interface, is easy to get to grips with and many established players are friendly, approachable and willing to help.

Really this is a drunken rant about how Eternal wins every month, and that I can relate too :D
