I know you locked the thread so this wouldnt happen but I feel I should show my support to you Ender.

I completely understand you. It happened to me something similar. As anyone else here, I have goals in this game. I like to talk alot about the game with other players (more than actually play it, thats why i'm not such a good player, scorer, whatever). But then I started to feel that the discussion about the game wasnt letting me doing anything in the game cause I wasnt playing properly. lets say I wanted to dump 1000 wins per day. With the talking I was just dumping like 200.

This happened particularly when Escapism was going ftw. I wanted to score real hard, but there was people that still asked me to whore my ratio whores! For godsake, it wasnt time to build bots, it was time to score! I'm not mad with anyone, it was just how I felt that drove me away from the game. I wasnt getting fun anymore. Well, after a couple of months being away, I hope to come back playing.

As to your situation Ender, I prefer that you dont talk with us and work on that PvE system. When you first talked on it several weeks ago, I was really excited. I cant wait for that. I hope you keep your schdedule and implement it in december. If not, that update would be a good way to start a new year too (this if the world doesnt end like maya calendar says...). More than january is unacceptable (of course you do whatever you want, i'm nobody to demand anything from you).

If you want you can lock this thread too and please dont waste time replying to it.

I'm less worried about what Ender doesn't do rather than what he does do :P He can take time away from the game at his whimsy as far as I'm concerned.

I think he should have waited to change EPH when the PvE idea was ready and have implemented them together. Then we could have gotten a better feeling of what he's going for before getting pushed into it, but it is what it is.

Also btw Ender, perhaps you should sticky your shadow stepping thread. I predict it getting buried before it becomes null.

I echo the sentiments of esv.

It is hard juggling between a job, home, family, relationship & social life adding on a hobby game on top of that is overloading.

I appreciate the valuable time and effort you input into this game wiggin & you've done marvels with it :D

Don't let the naysayers get you down. You've gamed long enough to know every change on any game is met with resistance, it's nothing personal just human nature ;)

Thanks for the support. I know this will all blow over soon, it was just frustrating in the meantime and stepping out for a little was an easier and more productive way for me to go on for now. Having been an online gamer all my life and obviously knowing how typical these sorts of responses are from gamers, it surprisingly still manages to get under my skin every now and then. :)
