This prize intends to improve the competition on this game while serving my personal goals.
Reward: 10 permanent stars (paid by me)
Task: Finish 1st place in monthly energy HoF.
To be able to win this prize the following requirements must be met:
Be an Escapism member in that month. Cannot use any illegal tactic. My criteria for this will be Ender's decisions. If he applies a punishment to that player in the following months the prize will be returned (I hope Ender helps me in this one either by monitoring the player or returning me the stars).
The prize can be won in any month and all the players can win it: current escapism members, members from other clans (including Eternal) or independent ones.
I just ask to the candidates to warn a bit before so we can go ftw in that month.
This is to prevent the commentaries that Escapism is recurring to desperate measures to be sucessful: in bots2 there was always star contests, so there was always some kind of payment to reach the sucess.

Very nice recruiting method. Desperate time call for desperate measures. The only thing is what is going to keep neps from joining Escapism for the month and taking 1st monthly but still contributing heavily on his Eternal bots to insure an Eternal victory still?

I suppose this can only be good for the game. Though you need to be careful who you let "try". Someone may try for the first 10 days, give up, then leave and you've just lost a lot of energy (and potential of another member) and ultimately lose the clan race, again :P

esv is just trying make a bit of competition for you guys (eternal) this is what you have been waiting for months and 10 stars for coming 1st is a big jump for some people that dont ave stars

Sorry if I'm not the Bill Gates foundation. This is a game, so I wont waste my life savings on it.
This prize is open to everyone including neps. If he scores the double or the triple for Eternal with other bots I dont mind. His bot in Escapism must be 1st place and Eternal would lose some advantage anyway. I don't expect that Eternal members try to win this prize though. I think loyalty is more important than money.

On the bright side, somebody would be joining the only clan with the resources to even attempt rivaling Eternal, and with the opportunity to get some stars for the game they may already spend hundreds of hours on.

Well, this is a very hard prize indeed except for neps. Or neps can agree with someone and divide the prize but that wouldnt make much sense since we would be going ftw anyway

This type of incentive worked well in BOTS2. Immortalis (well floosh) offered 6 perm stars to anyone in the clan that achieved 100,000 cs by the end of the month. Like beating Neps this feat was considered impossible, still BigBad managed it (with a little help from his friends):D

I wouldn't even try! because right now sith lords clan is in front of escapism! The only way eternal will lose is if rivan and neps don't score for them

I would prefer to beat Eternal with Neps and Rivan scoring rather than win because Eternal wasnt in full force.

I'm boycotting Apple products. It seems they are evading paying the full tax in the UK. I'd always assumed that the UK was paying so much more for Apple goods because of tax, turns out they're just greedy bastards.
I'm also boycotting Starbucks for the same reason.

The US-price is before tax though. In Holland the ipad mini costs 329 euro, thats including 21% VAT, so that's $271 without. Google tells me 271 euro = 344 dollar.
So yea, it's a bit more expensive; 15 dollar. Nothing outrageous, right?
Still, no matter euro or dollar, that thing is overpriced anyhow. I'm getting a Nexus :)

It's the same price in Canada, also why doesn't anyone do what me and daz frequently did, make a combined bot, score 24/7 and win.

I'm not talking VAT Jans, you can't evade paying that. I'm talking profit tax. Apple paid 1.9% instead of the 24% other businesses pay.
Yes they sre utilising legal loopholes which our government needs to close. My point still stands, they are ripping off UK buyers by not passing on their lower outgoings. Plus in times of austerity that unpaid tax could've been used to build up & support our economy.
Don't even get me started on Starbucks who've paid ZERO UK tax for two years!
Also Jans a tablet would be useless for BOTS because of the switching signals dcing you all the time. I've tried playing on my phone & get DCed every other fight. Way too annoying to play.
I agree FTP, the best way to win this prize is to team up with someone in a different timezone & maximise the scoring/dumping time. 5 stars each is nothing to be sniffed at :)

That being said Rose, you look at me and Daz, when we leveled final if we got lazy we had others level (Freakster, Mike, Basher, khael) A Few others awhile. But stars were given out what not especially in cs comps....i just wish I was as smart as ev to make it the top overall cs. O well.
