What do you expect from a game solely created and maintained by one guy, who has a job at Google and has other shit to worry about? If you want a game that's constantly updated go play WoW or something, Bots never has been like that, so why would it be now?

He is 100% right fishwick over a year ago now ender said tournaments were close and look now still 12 months down the line the tournaments are still not here ow long have we gotta wait for them?

not only that alot of people invest in this game mate 10 USD to buy 1 star mate and i dont often buy stars but their has been 351 trophy's handed out so im assuming thats the amount stars bought thats alot of money for people to be investing into a game that isn't developing

Real life gets the best of all of us, stars are donations so you have to renounce your expectations... The part of the game I want changed wont be, move on and play something else, or have a real life and be a douche there, whatever :p

He's working on more than just tournaments. Also I'm sure he has a few priorities that outweigh this "boring peice of shit", especially at this time of year.

I just don't have as much time anymore to work on the game unfortunately. When I started this project I was still in school and was single. Now I'm working full time and have a girlfriend. I'll admit the motivation comes and goes now, but even when I have it, I don't always have the time. So trust me, it frustrates me just as much as it frustrates you how little time I get to put into the game now. And to think I don't even have kids yet...

When I was young and in my prime, I used to play BOTS all the time, but now that I am old and gray...BOTS still sucks! It is never going to be what you imagined it would be 10 fucking years ago...LOL gentlemen (and lady...14 online atm)

People just have unrealistic expectations of Ender's current capabilities and his time availability. Ender also doesn't provide very solid timelines for his work so that doesn't help much either.

In terms of motivation for Ender, I feel like we need to align his goals more accordingly with ours.

The current state of the game appears to be:

• Ender works hard -> "ppl are retarded and complain about changes"

• Ender faps all day -> "less people complain and game continues"

Ender has interns at google get them to code it for you.

I guess PvE system will be like tournaments... It won't ever come. For the record, I wasn't around when tournaments were promised and I started playing +-1 year ago.

However, I really liked the last change in energy system. Of course my clan won for the 1st time but I really had fun scoring in November (it was a hard top10 plat) and the truth is that I feel more motivation to score now than when the EPH was uncapped. It also made possible scoring at kinda low levels and without dumpers, which led to new active players that I didnt know before. In my opinion, the game gained a bit of life since the update.

Now I'm looking forward neps's return. Finally he took a break (it's very hard to play intensively for such a long time) but I'm curious to see if Escapism can compete against Eternal while he scores :)
