If the showroom is selling a separate "iron katana", what is the unspecified "katana" made out of?

all katanas are supposed to be forged from steel, so i'd worry more about the 'iron katana' if i were you. |

So this stick is more powerful than a weapon called a "Thunder Maul" So what's the muul made out of? A 12 Volt Battery and some soggy wood? |

I dunno. I'd trust an iron katana over a ruby katana to be honest. I don't think gemstone is somewhat brittle. |

I would assume the material used directly translated into the quality of the weapon and the damage output granted as such. It's hard to get these things straight in a text based game, it's like playing MUDs again. |

Well I'm sure the diamond katana kicks ass whether it's the hilt or the blade. |

And now how about the opal set. Any armor made out of hard unmaleable meterial would be awfully uncomfortable without sliding layers. Since opals contain more water in the stone composition than others tends to be brittle in cold temperatures. Are we fighting in a controlled environment? I remember in bots2 that floR had a floor layout of the locations like showroom, fight room, etc, so I guess this could all be in something like a paintball arena :) |

N Jans [87] 3 2013-02-27 02:19:32 [7 hours ago] all katanas are supposed to be forged from steel, so i'd worry more about the 'iron katana' if i were you. Steel is made from iron in percentages of up to 99.98% down to 98.3% by weight. The rest is carbon. And yes all katanas are supposed to be made of steel. But they still have high amounts of iron. A steel with a high amount of iron compared to carbon could be seen as an iron katana. Or you know the guy who made it could've had lots of sake and forgot to add the charcoal. |
