askin ender but anyone that can help is more then welcome to reply. im a techy so i know how to fix things. i have a second nexus 7 that isnt covered by asus anymore. i need to replace the micro usb port 2.0 on the nexus 7, ive got it taken apart and the part siting out inf ront of me but no part number. any ideas that i canfind one that fits the nexus 7? keep in mind it has head phone port jack on it as well. i will upload a picture in a little bit when i can. im having issues finding the part so i can fix this tablet. I'm not speaking for Google in any way because I don't know anything about this, but in the past, I've had luck finding replacement parts for my iPod on eBay (specifically, the headphone jack/hold switch and battery), so you might try there.

Thanks man. Didn't realize how hard this part was going to be to find. BTW Google and Asus made a solid tablet. What I've been playing bots on latley .

I had good luck finding online tutorials for doing the iPod repair (a lot of people even sell kits), you might try that too.
