Hi guys.

I have a file on my pc i can't remove.

I transfered a lot of files from an external harddrive, to my pc. The file is called "w7lxe".

I Think It's some kind of Windows 7 loader, for a pirated version.

But When i try to delete it, Windows tells me that i need admin rights to complete the action.

Anybody here, who knows what i Can do? - free hugs to the hero.

Kisses

This seems to be a clue:

Windows tells me that i need admin rights to complete the action.

Do you have admin access?

Perhaps the file is locked, or perhaps you're not the owner (although as admin that shouldnt matter)

If you right-click the file, go to security settings, what does it say? You should be owner, and have 'full control'

You can like Jans said, also activate it. You will need an activator for it though. Not sure on which ones are good.

At least on Win XP unlocker helps a lot. I think i didnt have a single file which i couldnt delete with unlocker. But dunno how well it would work on other windows.

Go to your command prompt : Run > "cmd".

Try to brute force deleting it.

If it is a program (.exe), try to go to programs and uninstall it.
