Why do you ask bots players these questions SJ? There are websites for this kind of stuff. Just read reviews on there.
I'm too poor to spend a stupid amount of money on overpriced headphones to care though.
Aslong as they work give me any headphones.
I have dre beats they are purple and really cool!
It sounds like you want sound quality, beats are more a fashion statement, go for something less trendy if you want a better sound for a low price.
i dont care which doctor makes them, im not buying $400 headphones ^^
i have skull candy aviators sk pro's and skullcrushers which are brilliant but i have found my in ear beats are much better than any other in ear headphones i have had such as the skull candys full metal jackets 50/50 and fix
also i ask these questions because i fucking choose too also if it gets the forum more active then it is worth it
What Fishwick said, if you actually want a good sounding set, have a look at brands like Audio-Technica, Sennheiser, AKG, Beyerdynamic, V-moda.
Yeah, Beats are a fashion statement, so don't go with those unless that's what you're going for.
I've used Sennheiser HD 280 for 5 years now both at home and at work and like them a lot. $99.95 USD on Amazon.
/me waits for Erica the lurking audiophile to chime in

Why ask or read the opinions of hundreds of strangers when you can ask for the opinion of a dozen people you actually kinda know.
Also dre beats are for fucking tryhards.
I had a pair of beats that I got as a Xmas present a year or so back, I found them to be very disappointing an they didn't live up to the hype!
see my powerbeats in ear ones are awesome much better than my skullcandy in ear ones well i should say they are on par with the full metal jackets
tbh i have had nothing but trouble with sennheiser in the passed so i have not had anymore of them since i was around 18/19
anybody ever had any http://www.stuff.tv/akg-k451/review apparently these are best according to the website but obviously other websites will probably say different

Best headphones that you can get for Fistful of Dollars... Koss Porta Pro.
Since you're willing to spend some money, you might want to look into noise canceling headphones.
I've been very happy with my Sennheiser PCX 450. Instead of increasing the music volume to stupid levels to drown out the surrounding noise, it neutralizes it quite well. Obviously that's mostly useful when you're going to use them on the road / in loud environments.
Since you're not into Sennheiser, i hear the Bose Quietcomfort 20 does quite well.
also, i've had AKG's before - don't know that particular model, but as a brand they generally make good headphones.
id always give sennheisers another try if i find a pair that people have said is good so il have alook at them jans possibly see if anywhere sells them near me so i can try them before i buy
Why do people use headphones?
iPod I can understand, but why would you carry around something 10x bigger than the player to listen?
Because they're more comfortable and provide better music quality than in-ears?
i want them because im in the process of getting some decks just to play with lol
I have samsung in-ears and the quality is pretty much perfection.

^ I always hear good things about Bose ear buds, you do get what you pay for.

Whoops I fucked that post up.
Just remember to get a shirt like this and you'll complete the look of your average douchebag!
The last 3 posts gave me an image that there exists a douchebag somewhere with headphones on driving a car (on the road as per Gpof's post) with a Monster shirt on yelling "BROOOOOOOOOOOOOO" out his window and not listening to haters because he has awesome noise canceling headphones on.
You can't buy imagination like mine because it's so broken :/
I use JH Audio JH16s and Sennheiser HD600s
Works nice
So.. my Sennheisers are broken. I guess it's a shitty brand after all ^_^
They still play, but the noise canceling is f'ed..
YMMV. I've been using the same Sennheiser HD-280 headphones for nearly 5 years now (really, I just looked when I placed the order - 2009-11-13). No problems with the audio, though some of the physical parts have signs of wear, e.g. the fabric on the earpieces is a little torn in some places.
Well i have been looking into the headphones abit here and there and i have desided to go with the Sennheiser Momentum will let you all know how they go when i finally get them :)
