I've written a script that will allow you to set hotkeys for each of the train/fight again links at the end of every fight. To run it you'll need Firefox with the addon Greasemonkey, or Google Chrome.

Simply just click the green button that says "Install".

When it's installed you can go to the workshop, below the color settings you should see a new row that says "Hotkeys:" followed by 3 buttons. You can click these buttons to set your hotkeys, when you click on a button its text will change to "..." and wait for you to press a key.

Can any body remember another add on from bots2 where it told you calculations up top of how much exp you needed to level how long a train/fight was taking. How many trains needed to level etc.

It was a greasemonkey program to what i remember. Dont even know if it would work on here or would you have to make a whole new one from scratch?

My statistics script has been installed over 150 times, while this one doesn't even have 50 installs.

Maybe goes without saying, but the hotkeys only work on a fight / train page.

It's not as advanced as an autoclicker ;)

The 3 keys correspond with the 3 links on the screen.

1 - Fight
2 - Fake Fight
3 - Back to list

Depending on where the 'Fight' link is shown, that's either key 1, 2 or 3

Oi Emanuel, on chrome-os, this script becomes kind of like an autoclicker - except it always auto-picks the first link, repeatedly, constantly, like every second.. I've been pissing all over Ender's toilet seat :)

I've been happily using the hot key script for ages. But today it went crazy & did exactly what Jans describes above.

Ender, maybe its a good idea to incorporate this into the game yourself?

I'm not against adding it, but it's not a priority, so you'll probably have better luck asking Emanuel to see if he can fix it in the meantime.

The script had a variable called location that collided with a variable already defined by the browser.

That's not really fair. It did take me 19 days to fix this, and the bugs Ender have to deal with are usually a lot more complex.

If anyone else is as useless as me, try this:

• Right click the install button
• select 'Save as'
• find the file in your downloads
• drag & drop into your Chrome extensions

Yup, there have been some changes to Chrome, so it's no longer possible to install scripts directly from userscripts.org, instead you have to do what ActiveX said.

I'm not sure if others who use chrome are experiencing my problem. But the script does not work as intended and I had to edit it in tampermonkey by replacing the window.location = linkHrefs[i] line with window.location.replace('http://bots4.net' + linkHrefs[i]);

I just rewrote this as a Google Chrome extension for the Chrome Web Store. It's publishing as we speak, but that might take up to an hour, and it's way past my bedtime, so you'll get a link tomorrow :)

Note that it (obviously) only works for Google Chrome, and you now set the hotkeys on the extension's option page, rather than in the workshop. You can find the options page at chrome://extensions (or through the menu in Chrome: More tools -> Extensions). Just click the link that says "Options" next to the extension.

The statistics one could probably be shortened down a bit, I mean, how many actually used the drag 'n' drop feature? Or the "trainevasionpercent" and some of the other meaningless stats? :P

Hi, Everytime I go into combat it freezes. I am running firefox and it installed just fine. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

@BaronStone I have the same problem with firefox/greasemonkey but it seems to be working just fine with chrome/tampermonkey

Try using greasemonkey and adding the script with that.

Did that, but Bots4 freezes up when I run it.

That's odd, it's working fine for me. I'm not entirely sure which rendition I'm using in Firefox though as it's been updated before.

Got it working on Chrome... don't know what's keeping it from working properly on Firefox >.<

I believe I used the script linked in the original post, but copy pasted the source code manually to greasemonkey. I'm not sure what else I might have done as it's been years since I've touched it at all.

I'll just play on Chrome to avoid any issues. Thanks again for the quick response and help! You're awesome!

No problem, just wish my memory was a bit better to help properly. It's probably for the best you play in Chrome anyway, I recall Firefox actually lagging behind in fight/train times (a 10 second fight will actually take 12 seconds to finish if you stay on the page for example).

Found this again, SO happy hotkeys once again are fixed. Darn Chrome updates over the decade.
