I think this has been suggested before, but i couldn't find it. So here it is (again).
Always keep your total energy, you can clanhop all you want, but the total energy is bound to your bot and not a clan.

Completely agree. For the love of the game, make this happen! |

Not sure we've made a dedicated thread for it, but we have talked about it a bit in other ones. I agree that the total energy obtained on a bot shouldn't be lost, at least for record keeping sake. A lot of people spend a lot of time gathering energy. |

Yes please! |

Not sure I like the idea of keeping it all in regards to HoF when it comes to switching clans, but some type of tracking/running total like nos said at the very least displayed on a bots profile or whatever. I do think it would be good to have your total energy for specific clans saved if you re-join though, any bots that do resets comes to mind. |

I do think that having total energy for HoF purposes would help push more of the "idlers" down though. And I didn't even think about reset bots. |

when it comes to switching clans Clans? Plural? When did we get more than one clan again? In my opinion, anything that encourages possible mobility instead of trying to discourage and stifle it is simply good. Besides, it should just be consistent. Currently, no one ones energy. Clans do. You have some share of the clan's energy. Bots should own their energy they create. Simple. Besides, remember the good ol' days of sabotage and everything else? You never felt safe. Would just be more interesting if someone could leave in the middle of a month and take their energy somewhere else. Oh no, the game might be less boring... Besides, again, mobility is just good and beneficial. It was one thing before the game revolved around a trophy system. But now, the game very actively discourages people from moving very freely. Like, who the heck would move a bot right now if it meant sacrificing TPs? It's completely ridiculous. And... we as much as I'd love to completely change the trophy system... that isn't happening... so... the game should work around that. As it currently stands though... it all just doesn't work very well together. |

When you leave a clan to join a different one, there is a clan you were previously in, and one you are in after. That is multiple clans. What are you on about?
This has already been a thing aside from carrying the energy over. A clan still loses the energy from a bot leaving. There's been instances in the past where it was relevant for the monthly race. |

There's one big clan in the game that everyone joined. The game kinda doesn't even have more than one clan... |

At the current time, sure. The game is however, 15 years old in it's current iteration and multiple people have switched clans often due to the nature of some clans having multiple people lose interest and they themselves wanting to continue to play. |

Yes. The game is quite old and has had several different clans competing throughout it's time. Odd, I know.
I see why you got confused. You thought this was only for "right now"....
Glad you finally found the "in my opinion" button. And good to see you think this might be a good idea.
I'll assume you meant "own", as you don't own the individual energy you gain on a bot. Which is accurate and inaccurate at the same time. The energy is gained on the individual bot, but only because it's in a clan to gain the energy in the first place. Both are required in order for energy to be a factor, so obviously both are necessary in the equation. We're just wanting recognition of our hard work that we've put in over the years. Sport analogy, when a player's career has ended they include all the stats from all the teams in his profile to showcase everything he has done. That's all we're seeking here.
Taking the energy you gained so far in the month for a clan and moving to another clan midmonth and that clan gaining it was never a thing. However, just like old days people leaving a clan at the last minute and making said clan lose 1st and become 2nd has occurred as it did in Bots2.
The game is quite literally the very definition of boring. That's why some of us play it. Time killer, nothing more.
I would. I have. 1 plat for being in Top Clan EoM being the basis of your argument is absurd.
As is your arguments.
Oh good, another thing you would change to fit your views because you think you know so much beter that you could recreate the game and have droves of people flock to it to play.
Just another one of your wonderful opinions. |

FFS, you literally pretend I don't think there are more than one clan... The worst thing is I know you know better. But, as per usual, you insist on attacking strawmen instead of being remotely reasonable. It's just hard to even begin taking you seriously, dude. And the reality isn't that I even "think I know everything" or even ever slightly suggested I had the answers to make people flock to this game. But... I'm sure as heck not afraid of any actual changes. Like, what is Ender even expected to ever do when the playerbase is so protective of the status quo and so vehemently anti-change? You know what's the worst thing for the game? Wanting NOTHING of any actual value to ever be done. |
