This was it!! The month to finally take a stand and fight for the supremacy of BOTS. But where have all the good men gone? Where are our valiant heroes who were fighting against the monopoly? Only time will tell if they will rise again and try do the impossible. As for now, we weep at their demise and wish that one day they awake from their slumber to challenge at the highest level.

Almost the entire playerbase is in Lusitania.

We scored plenty in February (woulda cleared 10mil ourselves, before stopping last week to go all-build) and... you all decided you actually had to score. And, for our efforts, all we got was a bunch of morons insisting we just didn't know how to play and massive trolling. If we scored this month, it woulda been the same.

But, c'mon, be better. There's no "opportunity.". You fools do have a virtual monopoly here and seem to get off on that somehow - it's sad and dumb. The least you could do is actually try and foster possible competition instead of being a bunch of asshats and quash it.

So I'll take this time to compliment Mount Wario. At least that's someone doing something. Mad respect there. And I've always said I'd support that... so here I am supporting it. Simple.

I love being a martyr and all... but we aren't here just so you can pretend like there's actual competition and you can feel good about yourselves. We aren't your dancing clowns.

It was a missed opportunity on many parts because the idea me and Mal had at first, which was to try and make a social clan where people just chatted and had fun, was actually serving it's purpose the first month. Unfortunately owning or managing clans in this game is harder than herding cats in real life. If you leave people alone, they just do their thing and if you piss them off, well, they do anything to piss you off too. Mal found that out with Alan, I found that out with Fish, etc., etc. Even with all that negativity from a variety of places, including stuff I've said, I did try and push ahead thinking that the energy that Ender had around November would carry on until the new year and we'd see a new and revitalized game. I was playing for that purpose really. Some people were nice and cheered us on to try and have some competition but at the same time something seemed to just not feel right anymore. Ender was gone, my own ambition I had months prior was gone, Nos and others started trolling with their one word answers to everything, it seemed like nobody cared about the game at all anymore. I made that post in the Misc forums about grievances from myself and the general community and what did I get for it? It got closed and nothing has happened since.

I say this because it led me to feel silenced and that I was generally right about Ender and the game's situation. That along with Lusitania rolling over dead to give Mount Wario a free win when two months earlier Fish was getting millions just to annoy me just showed me that everything is fine as long as you're part of Lusitania, if not, get the hell out. Free wins for some, bitching about no competition and sweating their dicks off for others. On top of that there's one bot with near 5 million energy this month and that's not suspicious at all, nothing at all is said. It's like everyone is just playing dead so one guy can either legit or cheat his way to get a record (I don't really care which it is). This game is a corpse now, same as it was when bots2 died and everyone just let nikacc score and gave up. It's because of all of this that I'm never playing again, and for real this time, I quit every clan I had, even Tarnished, and I cared for that clan more than I did many others over the years just because Mal was in it + we all tried to have fun :) I hope it can come back someday and I'm sure Mal is working at it as we speak as it's his baby.

Also, the game is just boring lol. There's like, 1000's of better games ;P

But... make no mistake, Tarnished isn't dead...

But... I'm also not very sentimental and couldn't care less about some name of a clan. A clan is the people in it. Like, let's say I went back to Rapture... that isn't my old clan, ya know? It's something else entirely now. The name is just a name. If FNIX and the gang came back, however? Wouldn't matter what the name of the clan was that we were in... THAT would be my old clan, ya know?

But... Tarnished? Oh... I ALWAYS have many different plans in the works...

The reality is... I'm just not interested at the moment in emailing the current game state by being virtually the entire playerbase's "competition." And I'm definitely not trying to ask Juv0 and Cosby and such to humor everyone else either.

Heck, I told Esv ages ago that it would ultimately just be a patience thing. EVENTUALLY people will be bored enough that they'll decide maybe they should do something.

A brief clarification on this: As stated, that thread was locked due to the discussion becoming unproductive and hostile, not to silence feedback. We've also engaged privately via bmail since then. Substantial work on the game has also been going on behind the scenes.

It's time to move on from this. I'm happy to do community engagement, but I don't want to continue re-litigating the same points all across the forums - that time is better spent on game development. Broader constructive suggestions remain welcome in dedicated forum threads. And you may continue to bmail me any specific concerns.

You don’t stumble into a 6-million energy month by accident. You don’t set new records because everyone else just “rolled over.” You do it because you grind, because you organize, and because your squad shows up when others burn out.

The same players calling this a “free win” are the ones who sat on the sidelines, posted 1,000-word sob stories, and ragequit their own clans. And now they’re out here crying foul while offering zero effort and zero accountability. If that’s your energy, please do sit out entirely—and spare us the dramatics.

We're not in the lead because Lusitania collapsed. This is the final crescendo of a grind that began in late 2023 (refer to our only direct interaction where you also stated your commitment). A grind to outmaneuver, outscore, and outlast one of the strongest dynasties in recent bots4 history. This was a war of attrition, won by the side that didn’t implode mid-battle or abandon their team when things got tough. And when we’d finally carved a path past them? We didn’t coast.

And as for the slanderous claims of cheating? They’ve become as predictable as they are baseless — hurled from the mouths of players who’ve never even come close to the milestones we’re setting. Not to take anything away from your accomplishments, but how can you say that Lusitania DIDN'T roll over when they're sitting on less than 2.5 mil? Not saying that they all agreed to give up and let you win or anything, but it's not like they're going all out like in previous months where they put up 20 mil.

I don't think they rolled over. I think majority of the clan tends to look around and see if anyone else is going to do anything. At this point, most everyone in clan isn't super-threatening by themselves... there's just so many of them that decided to try and ride each other's coattails.

My best guess is they were mostly just looking around to see if someone else might step up and there just really wasn't, so they were left without that fire to get 'em going.
