Just wondering what the public thinks should be included in the reward system

The feature is pretty much coming soon, but dont expect to see things that overlaps with other things such as stars or redist points, since they already exist.

An achievement is the reward. You achieve it and you get the medal, thats the reward right there. If you get the award for being the first to do something then being first is your reward. Don't expect something for nothing...

Yeah... you also get achievement points, which is/will be a type of currency.

Isn't the achievement points "kind" of like experience points? The one with the most points would indicate that they have the most total accomplishments. They are thus identified as being number 1 as far as achievements go. That should be reward enough I would think?

Now if Ender wants to separate the donating part of it and have the points accumulated for donating translate in to something such as another star then fine. But I can't see the sense in awarding prizes for the other "accomplishments".

Just like kudos everything in bots will come eventually. With the exception of stars of course so anything else is in essance useless.

Just my opinion, and no I'm not bitching about anything...

The next update covers achievement point spending. It's been half-written for a few weeks now, so I've already known what you'll be able to buy with them. As Sera mentioned, it won't overlap stars/redis, but it will provide tangible benefits that you will all hopefully enjoy. :)
