Is the winner determined by how much energy they have by month's end?

How can clans who have not banked energy be ranked ahead of clans who have energy by month's end?

Just need some clarification.

Clan rankings are determined by monthly energy, as shown on the main clan page.

Maybe I'm wrong but the way I understand it is that energy really isn't "banked" like cs was in Bots 2. It can be taken away when the bots lose fights against bots in other clans. If you win or lose to a clanless bot then obviously your energy is not effected. In Bots 2 Jans Index determined the winner each month. This took in to account clan ratio, average level and cs gained.

So with that said, if everybody gangs up on the top clan and enough of their energy can be taken then their lead can be reduced. However beating strong bots is not as easy as beating whores so knocking them out of the top spot will be difficult at best if not impossible.

Thats the way I understand it. Correct me if I'm wrong...

you are partially correct sir.

as it stands at the moment energy flows downward. So if the top clan had it's energy harvested by lower level bots they could not currently recoup that lost energy. so if that top clans targets are limited their lead can quite easily be eroded.

Why, I rather not have my clans lead eroded, thank you :)
