Previously, automatic clan treasury donations only activated if your bot had explicitly enabled a >0% donation percentage in the workshop.

Now, regardless of this setting, any excess kudos (i.e. kudos beyond the game cap of 5,000,000) will be automatically donated to your clan if you are in one and there is room in the treasury for more kudos.

Note that just like before, this calculation all happens before auto-repairs. Let me know if this now results in any oddities or even just annoyances that come up as a result of this. I think ideally auto-repairs should have come before automatic clan donations, but this is slightly non-trivial to rework and I'd rather punt on this for now if it's not a major issue.

P.S. Disclaimer: There are more updates to come, so if this one doesn't excite you, hang tight. I know a bunch of different ideas have been brought up in the What do you want to see done for the game? thread (if you haven't shared your own perspective there yet and want to help shape the game's future, go ahead and do so!) and I know that everyone has different opinions on what order they should be worked on in. Rather than try to bundle up changes into larger updates, I'm currently planning to post user-facing ones as they're completed so that new stuff goes out sooner.

The main annoyance I have with this is when trying to order equipment. As I am always under 5 mill kudos due to auto repairs, I actually can't 1 day order any equipment that costs >2.5 mill, of which my weapon and shield are both

Oh, good point Myriad. I'll look into having the auto-repairs costs come out of the battle winnings first. Probably same problem with buying redis points at high levels (and else that costs that 5M that I'm forgetting).

(I don't think we need a knob to disable this feature as long as the ability to "easily" get 5M kudos is restored.)

Short reply: Got it. Still mostly on my radar, but it'll take a bit more time unfortunately.

Long reply for anyone curious about the details: This had sadly been at the top of my list quite awhile ago and I went off the deep end making progress towards it. It seems like it should be a straightforward thing to do (and it generally is), but the battle and rewards code is an awful mess of spaghetti because it was one of the first things I wrote for this game 14 years ago. I was too afraid to make big changes to it, so I started refactoring it and adding lots of tests in place to make sure I didn't unintentionally alter some other unrelated behavior. Anyway, I got too into the weeds on this and never bubbled back up to address what motivated all that work in the first place. At this point, I haven't touched it in 6+ months so I'll need to build some context back up and get into it again. Hopefully that's relatively soon.
