I remember that bots2 homepage showed the bots who made 1 or more years in that day.

My suggestion is to create trophies related to the bot's age. It would be something like this:

New Born or Toddler trophie (bronze) - 1 month old

Freshman or Teen trophie (silver) - 6 months old

Grown-up trophie (gold) - 1 year old

Old School trophie (platinum) - 3 years old

It would encourage people to not reset their bot and reward players for sticking to the game :)

Opinions? Give me some feedback please.

but resets can be good, eg. if you get to lvl 500 and get bored

Not sure how I feel about giving platinums out for doing virtually nothing other than waiting awhile as I mean for them to be somewhat significant accomplishments, but I'll likely bring back the notion of bot birthdays in one form or another eventually.

I don't see anything wrong with three year old bots getting plats though. :)

Kind of like the Open Beta plat. You get it because you got here early.

I've another idea.

In a bot's birthday it could receive a message saying "Happy birthday! To celebrate it, B.O.T.S. Union gave you a present"

This present could be a buff like aura of eternity or a set of the 3 lowest level buffs.

this is beginning to sound good :) not too sure on leaving it exclusively to buffs though

Yeah, and that is entirely too much to give just for sticking around a year. Perhaps granting them their choice of a single buff for a "Birthday Present" would suffice. A nice concept that could definitely see some potential.

or maybe order something, not sure if ender wants to keep ordering exclusively to donators though.

He does, and after some debate with him I suppose it's valid. You should give anyone that doesn't donate the ability of what those that do have. It defeats the purpose of donating. So I completely agree that what the people that donate have no one should be given access to.

So when the public opening of bots (July 1st) comes around. Will there be anything available to us as an anniversary gift? Like a free buff of our choice, or another (perhap too great to think) 1000 Aura of Eternity like was handed out when buffs first became available?

Yes*.

* Assuming the feature is done by then. I have the general notion of game holidays as a P4 on the spreadsheet (but W5 unfortunately) because I think it's a really fun idea. You can read more about it here http://bots4.net/forum/8/2458 .
