Hello and welcome to the Suggestions subforum! I'll try to keep this brief. Since there's only one of me and my time is limited, a lot of things get suggested that I like, but don't have the time to implement. This means there are a lot of old threads floating around where someone suggests something and I respond with "hey, that's a good idea, I'll see about doing that at some point". This subforum is indexed by Google, so before you create a new thread, quickly search around a bit and see if what you have in mind has already been suggested. If it has, feel free to reply to that thread (I don't mind people bumping old threads) and I'll reply if I have anything to say. And thanks for reading this far because most people probably won't. :)
tl;dr: Threads that suggest things that have already been suggested will be locked with a reference provided to the canonical thread.
