I see it a lot in games like Diablo for instance. What's about things like double xp ,energy, speed weekends or be able to buy that sura of eternity buff on a random day etc. Lots of potential to get more activity from older players.

A good idea that was suggested before and depends on Ender :)

Having mini events to plan for and look forward to are neat and break up some of the game's monotony. Splatoon's monthly-ish Splatfests are great.

And for what it's worth, in my personal task/project list for bots4, this was actually already fairly high up after I recently reprioritized things because it falls into the sweet spot of being (a) an idea that I find interesting and am therefore interested in building and (b) not being an idea that would take a ton of time to implement.

Event: Do a shot every time Ender comes on.

Result: The lightest of buzzes.

But ya, events would be nice. And that star lottery used to be cool. What you should've done a long time ago Ender is make a recyclable event script that you could've just ran once a month or something, like lots of other games do. They just rotate the same event every 3 months or so lol.

or just go with the usual five:

• Christmas
• Easter
• July 4th
• Halloween
• game creators birthday

love this, and not even that hard to implement, i think, would love to see a monthly double xp day(buffs not included so they count as well)

Or we could just give Otto here a 500% exp buff only he can purchase ^_^ Except every time he wants to purchase it it costs $5 hehe.
