Inspired by ChaosEmperor words, I want to start a thread where you thank publicly who taught you to play bots.

Thank you ReneDescartes and Myriad. You are the most creative players I found in bots and you taught me everything I know. I must say I still learn with you guys nowadays.

If you want to be the best player, I advise you to bmail these two guys. By the way, if you enter in Escapism, you will have higher chances to get answers, I'm just saying :P

One was a cheater, the other a scammer, and probably a cheater too. So yea, 'cunts' seems a fitting description.

As for people who showed me the ropes - and i'll try to make this a less obvious "my clan rules" post - in various fields i've learned from people like Benny, Dragonrose, Ma(inframer), Nodus, Emanuel, Saiyan, and other people who've quit Bots2 many years ago and i cant remember their names.

I'll try and help you fill in the blanks Jans. Maybe Egis, Linuxxx, or Devo? Well, maybe not Devo, but he was a funny guy.

You're welcome by the way Esv.

As for who taught me, well, I mostly taught myself. Bots2 was mostly build anything that didn't suck and you could clan score. I've mostly just ripped off others builds on this game so far. So uh, thanks whoever posts builds on the public/private forums :P

I learned myself for the most part, as far as the basics of playing the game go. I didn't play a lot of bots2 though, so I never did any proper builds and whatnot. Once I started talking to Hobo we would bounce builds off each other which got the ol' hamster running in my head.

After I learned the basics and the popular bots 2 weapons/builds, I learned the more min/maxing stuff from Rivan and neps. Of course I would learn bits and pieces from most clanmates, but they were the most standout advisors when I was new and needed it the most.

Roffler taught me the basics of the game.

Dougie taught me how to kindly interact with people.

Rivan, Neps, and Fishwick taught me the way of freaking and how bots4 is played.

Even though 3 out of the 5 players cheated above, their character was never in question with me as they always lent a helping hand.

Tintin would do anything for anyone as well.

I guess I'll admit that asian was the person in bots2 who sent me on the path to perfecting stats for armors and weapons to maximize them at certain levels. Using certain armors over others (troll shoe over hpl boots in some cases) etc.

Though a lot of my current knowledge is from trial and error, there are some people to thank: Draoi(easy) and Rivan are the most notable. Building a bot, testing it against others I know to have certain builds, finding what works is where the majority of it came from though.

Well back in bots2 days it was Giga and Suicidal who taught me the most, gave basic builds and who were answering most of my questions. Later my knowledge came by surfing clan and general forums and by experimenting with calculators and stuff.

12monkeys forum taught me builds. It was all just there to read. PaussJr indirectly taught me about statistics and how to use them. Jans taught me how to forum post +1 correctly. Jian taught me the main secret, to click more.

Jian! There's a name from the past. The quiet hard workers rarely get the recognition they deserve.

Just played around in bots2 so nothing really learned there. In bots4 it would be who ever helped me with the builds I've posted on the forum, you know who you are.

Well going back to 2007 when i was 14/15 it was Basher(nathan) who showed me the game from 10 int builds to whore clans and ratio whores. Ever since that my opponents ass' were still sore from their raping.
