Is there anyway to avoid the profile reset that is warned of when creating a bot? When it jumps from open beta to release our bots will all have to start over? If I take it right? Perhaps stars will give immunity to a reset?

I understand that everything will be reset and its not a problem with me. However, I'm just wondering. What's the reason for the reset? Is it a technical reason that if it isn't reset then the final version will not function properly? Or is it a reset so that everybody starts out on an equal footing? If thats the case then it really isn't a valid reason for a total reset. Many games allow beta players to keep going with out having to suffer being set back to square 1... To be honest restarting again might make some people say screw it. I don't feel like starting over again... For the 3rd time... Plus is a reset really going to entice new people to join? I doubt it because the ones that are in beta now will be the ones in the fnal version... Just saying.

Actually this will be the first reset. So it'd be 1 time starting over, unless you're including bots 2, which makes 2.

Aye, this will be the first and only reset. It's partially about having everyone start off on equal footing, but also for things like people having gained levels through bugs, extreme whoring, etc. This topic is kind of a dead horse anyway.

Actually if you include bots 2. The upcomming reset will be the 3rd time having to start. Once for bots 2. Once for the beta of bots 4 and once for the reset or final version of bots 4. See thats 3 starts. lol :)

Well sooooory I didnt know it was such a touchy topic. And that question was more directed at Ender, who should have a rough idea being the head cheese and all.

Here is what we know will happen.

• Bots reset ( wins, losses, energy, level, stats)
• Stars stay on bots
• Clans deleted and ID set back to 1
• Forum posts/threads kept
• Messages, most likely not deleted.

Yeah, we know you do and its beginning to be obnoxious. Why don't you just make a bot and name it hobo. Then you wouldn't have to bother with signing every single one of your thousands of dumb replies... Go figure.
