*thinks about how to word suggestion*

When trying to buy an item from the showroom, (as apposed to the workshop lol) one of the requirements is to have the level needed to use the item to buy it.. Ender has said that one of the ways he protects his money is by purchasing high value items and reselling them later on, but I'm finding a problem with doing this because most items i can use are only 30,000 max (i think).

I realize being able to buy these items may screw up the high levels who actually need them.. but until Ender decides to re-add insurance *wink wink* :p i dont think i have a decent way to protect my money.

umm... so yea suggestion = Removing level requirement to buy items. (not to use them)

The only sure-fire way to protect your money, is to have a bot that doesn't suck. For the rest of us, all money is free-for-all.

lol point taken. Just thinking it might be nice to be able to buy a unique you plan on getting at a lower level if you happen to see it.. and to be able to save some money lol.

And level 5s shouldnt be able to afford much anyway... unless im doing something terribly wrong lol

>at level 100 you can already afford any items you want...

We mean you can't purchase items that you don't have the stats for. At level 100, this isn't an issue for you. =/

I don't really like this idea. If you want to use items to save your cash, then donate for stars to get storage space for more items (I use the extra slots for int items if I need to train). Donations will also help to finish the game (and get insurance done faster).

You could put a bank option in a clan or even the work shop. That way you could bank a certain percentage of your money according to their bots level.

Also the 5 million max amount should be made unlimited. That way there will be a reason to look for bots that have enormous stashes that can be stolen if they are beat. Also makes it more necessary to build a good bot or at least one that has good equipment.

Make the amount you can keep unlimited and allow players to bank (or protect) 5% of the unlimited amount. Of course there would be a tax or fee to keep money protected...

There's a thought behind the 5 million cap, if there was no cap there'd be basically an unlimited amount of kudos all over the place, and most people would never have to train.

Also, 5% of an unlimited amount is still unlimited.

Any leveling bot would have an obscene amount of money. Even at my current level I get close to 90-100k kudos a train.

Say it takes me roughly 1500 trains to level, thats 135,000,000 kudos a level. Needless to say, this game would start to be swimming in kudos.

Then cap it at a billion or something obscene like that. And still let people protect a small amount. That would really only help the low levels and people starting out. It wouldn't effect a level 200 or better "training bot" only, at all.

To be honest with you when I played Bots 2 for all those years I very rarely trained "to get Kudos". When I trained, I trained to get XP. I had my bot set up to get as much xp while being able to fight the highest level train bot that I could. I was getting 20 to 30 million xp and 500,000 or more Kudos per train so the game was already "flooded with Kudos". I was fairly successful with this in that I made it to level 240. (Not as good as some but it was in the top 20 at one time.

The Kudos were just something that came with it and it was a non factor. When I was going for cs with my "cs" bot and I needed Kudos I looked for "Kudo whores" or training only bots because a cs bot training to get Kudos took way too long. A level 150 cs bot might have gotten a few thousand kudos per train because they only had 5 int.

When you look at it like this then the amount of Kudos you can have really doesn't matter. Only for the low level people just starting out...
